Dovo - "Bergischer Lowe" Straight Razor, Horn Handle, Spanish Point, 5/8"

This beautiful horn handle and gold plated straight razor is nicknamed "Bergischer Löwe" (mountain lion) and belongs to the best of the best. It was used to be called Dovo Razor No 3. With its Spanish point, the finely worked blade is elegantly gold plated and paired with a handsomely crafted horn handle. As a tribute to the home region of Dovo and its history, the lion adorns each of the hand made straight razors as a heraldic animal. For maximum grip, the underside of the tang is ribbed. The handle is natural horn and can show some variation in color and texture.
