FAQs
Are Rockwell razors made in the USA?
Yes, Rockwell stainless steel safety razors are made in the USA. However, some products are manufactured in China. The Rockwell T2, including the T2 SS, is designed in Canada, with manufacturing, assembly, and initial quality control done in China. Once this process is complete, the final quality control is conducted in Canada.
While a large portion of their range is made from stainless steel, some of their products, particularly in the construction of their razor heads and handles, use Zamak. This is a metal primarily composed of zinc, with varying amounts of aluminum, magnesium, and copper.
How long do Rockwell razors last?
If you take good care of your Rockwell razor, then it has the potential to last a lifetime. However, you will have to ensure you keep it in good condition through proper care and maintenance. To make it last, you’ll want to clean it regularly and ensure you’re using it correctly. If you don’t, then you may not necessarily get the best use out of it, and that’s certainly not ideal!
Another reason Rockwell razors last so long is because they are constructed from high quality materials such as stainless steel, making them incredibly durable. As a result, you’ll be able to wield countless close and comfortable shaves. By investing in a Rockwell razor, you’ll be making big savings in the long run. You can browse our range above.
How do you clean a Rockwell razor?
Cleaning your Rockwell razor is simple. After each use, rinse the razor thoroughly with water to remove any shaving cream or debris. For a deeper clean, we recommend using a mild dish soap solution to gently scrub the razor and remove any buildup.
Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish of the razor. For stainless steel Rockwell 6S razors, occasional tea stains may occur if blades are left in the razor for extended periods. To address this, use a non-abrasive soft pad with a vinegar solution to polish out any discoloration. Remember to remove the blade between uses to prevent staining.
If you want to go the extra mile, invest in a razor stand to keep your razor clean, dry, and well-maintained between uses. This way, you can keep it in good condition for years to come.
