Boker - Julian's Barbershop, Straight Razor 6/8"
What does it take for a barber from an industrial town in the north of England to open the leading barbershop for English Gentlemen's Style in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates? Nothing less than an odyssey across the globe, a vita like that of a sailor from an adventure novel and quite a remarkable attitude towards life and people.
The Julian Colclough razor strictly follows the clear and classic appearance of his team. The simple but distinctive dress code of his team consists of short sleeved body hugging shirts with a black tie. The binary black and white color code was adopted in every detail for the knife. The 6/8" blade with traditional square head - optimal for drawing sharp contours - was burnished black.
The handle is made of white Elforyn with a black intermediate piece. This water-resistant material was developed as a substitute for ivory carvers and has almost all the optical and mechanical properties of natural ivory. The double serration of the tang ensures a secure grip in soapy hands and in the demanding everyday life of a barber. Supplied with an authentic Boker stamp in the blade, a certificate of authenticity and a historical packaging.
Limited to 99 pieces.
Handmade in Solingen, Germany.
