Vielong Bristol Brown Horsehair Shaving Brush, Red Handle

This is a fine, reasonably priced, shaving brush. I like that the hairs are from a horse and not a Trumper. The brush did smell like a horse during the first five shaves. Unfortunately, that lovely primal aroma dissipated. Seriously, I like that smell. Used to work on farm, fond and funky memories. The acrylic handle looks durable; I'm hoping it doesn't crack like other brush handles I've had in the past. I don't regret my purchase. And since the brush is made in Spain, I have the added bonus of probably brushing my face with Spanish horse hairs!

I am very pleased with this brush. My 1st brush was a badger. I bought a cheap one and it shed like crazy and I wound up retiring it to the landfill. So I was a little skittish and stuck with synthetic brushes which I like. Recently I tested the natural hair waters with this and it is perfect! It feels so nice. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this brush. It doesn't smell as much initially as people say.
