Badger Brushes

Badger hair is sourced from the badger’s pelt, with individual hairs varying in shades of brown and grey.

Known for their softness, excellent water retention, and ability to produce a rich, creamy lather, badger hair brushes are a popular choice for high-quality shaving tools.

The slightly coarse texture of badger hair also provides mild exfoliation, helping to lift the beard for a smoother shave. Badger hair comes in several grades, offering varying levels of softness and performance to suit different shaving preferences.

Pure Badger: Pure badger brushes use the most common hair from the underbelly of a badger. Coarser and more affordable, ideal for those new to wet shaving.

Best Badger: Best badger brushes are made with the finer, more pliable hairs of the badger's body. Slightly softer and more effective at creating lather, great for regular shavers.

Silvertip Badger: The Silvertip Badger knot is the finest and most expensive. Hairs are carefully selected by hand from the back/neck area of the badger, and their tip turns out to be very clear, almost silvery. The domed shape of the knot allows the brush to retain a large amount of water as to easily make a very good and rich lather. Silvertip Badger shaving brushes are well-known for their softness and they’re considered, without any doubt, the top quality in traditional wet shaving.
