Merkur - 34C Extra Thick Handle Safety Razor

Nice razor seems to be made very well feels beefy but fits nice in my small hands if I wear it out I will get another one

Still getting used to shaving with a razor like this but the razor is working well and has a nice weight to it.

It has a nice weight, it feels high quality, not much else to say, it is what you expect. Lived up to my expectations. Since its my first safety razor I can't compare it to any other ones, but its definitely an improvement from my old electric razor, much cleaner shave, no razor burn

I am a late middle aged woman who learned to shave with this type of razor. The new razors seem fine but every brand has different blades… never can remember which kind andso Ive ended up with all kinds of handles and all kinds of blades. None that go together. A mountain of useless plastic. I love the heft of my new all metal razor….it is a thing of beauty. The shave is great and no more useless plastic.

First time trying wet shaving and the shave is incredible, enjoyable, and I've never looked forward to my morning routine until now. The Merkur 34C has not disappointed due to its great build quality and good feel in the hand. My experience is limited, however I would agree that it is not the most aggressive razor making it ideal to start with and easy to get comfortable. I'm looking forward to trying different blades and further razors, but I feel the Merkur will always be part of the toolkit.
