This vertically walled, coffee-mug style shave mug has a relatively narrow interior diameter (about 3.25″ to 3.625″) and a taller depth of roughly 3.75″ to 4″, which helps contain lather and keep things tidy at the sink. The straight, high walls make it ideal for standard-sized brushes, but users with very large knots (around 26 mm or larger) or thick, oversized handles may find their fingers and brush handle regularly clinking the rim while loading and whipping lather. For traditional, smaller brushes, however, the proportions feel secure and controlled in the hand.

The bottom of the mug is shaped to grip a standard 2.25 oz Colonel Conk glycerin shave soap puck, keeping the soap from spinning while you load your brush. This design lets you press the brush into the soap confidently without chasing the puck around the mug. The compact footprint saves counter space, making it a practical choice for smaller bathrooms or crowded vanities, while the handle and straight walls offer a familiar coffee-mug feel when in use.
