The iconic Chubby 1 Sovereign Grade Synthetic shaving brush carries forward a legacy that began in 1919 with Scotsman Alexander Simpson, a pioneer in the shaving brush industry. Today, Simpson brushes are produced on the historic Isle of Man by Progress Shaving Brush Limited using traditional hand tied knot techniques.

Part of the celebrated Chubby series, which is turned in three sizes, the Chubby 1 is offered here in a classic Faux Ivory handle and filled with Simpson’s uniquely sourced Sovereign Grade synthetic fibre. The exceptional knot density and construction that define the Chubby line are fully present in this smaller format, delivering impressive lathering performance and control.

Globally acknowledged as one of the finest shaving brush designs ever produced, the Chubby 1 is particularly well suited for face lathering, offering a concentrated, luxurious feel with remarkable fibre resilience.
