These are some of the finest blades that I have ever used. I have several DE Razors both closed and open comb. The blades are not as aggressive as Feather. I would rate my beard as average in texture, so the Merkur Super Platinum hit the mark!

I've been using Merkur platinum Blades for approximately 10 years and I personally prefer this blade. The shave is smooth , sharp and I always get good results. This is why I ordered 100 blades so that I won't be without a good quality blade for a long time. I will use these blade as long as it's available. I get about 7 shaves from 1 blade before I have to replace it. Great blades, I think.
