When it comes to body shaving, many women opt for long-handled razors. Among the top choices for women's razors are the Merkur 22C, 23C, 24 or 24C, and Henson mild version razors. The only differences between the Henson mild and the Henson medium are the blade gap and blade exposure. These measurements are two major factors in controlling the "aggressiveness" of the shave.

For finer hair and shaving areas other than the face, a milder razor is generally desired. The mild razor would be especially recommended for people with sensitive skin and have frequent complaints with skin irritation or ingrown hair.

For coarser hair, the aggression of the medium razor may be more suitable as it has slightly more blade exposure and a wider blade gap than the mild. It requires more attention during shaving.

There are also adjustable razors, such as Rockwell 6C or Rockwell T2, provide flexibility. You can start with a milder setting and gradually increase if needed.

Please keep in mind that the choice of razor blades and shaving cream can significantly impact the shaving experience, especially for individuals with sensitive skin and thick hair. You might require a shaving brush to generate lather with shaving cream or soap of your preference. Shaving brushes can help exfoliate the skin by gently lifting away dead skin cells, leaving the skin smoother.
