    We have a 30-day return policy, starting from the day you receive your item.

    Products that have been removed from their original packaging or have broken seals are deemed non-returnable. Returns lacking original packaging will not be accepted.

    Shaving creams, soaps, lotions, and any liquids or unsealed containers are not returnable as opening the lid could compromise the integrity of the product. 

    Blade sampler packs, once partially used, are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges.

    Shaving brushes, combs, gift sets, kits and other grooming products and shaving accessories are not returnable if used, have broken seals, lacking original packaging.

    Due to hygiene and sanitation concerns, used items cannot be returned.

    All returns and exchanges require prior authorization. To initiate a return, please contact us at support@newenglandshaving.com. We will verify with you if the item meets our return policy criteria. Upon your confirmation, we will provide a return shipping label. Upon receipt of your return, our team will inspect it. If accepted, a refund will be issued according to our refund policy terms.

    Shipping fees both ways are non-refundable in the case of return or exchange except for damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped items.

    Refund requests will be denied if the returned product does not meet our return criteria or align with the initial confirmation of its condition.

    Works great and lathers well, but the scent, well...

    Since Arko shaving soap and I are roughly the same age, and I am not a young man, countless users for over 6 decades have tried it at least once. The design of the container is pricelessly cheesy and always makes me smile, although I have transferred the puck into my ceramic shaving mug for more lathering room. This tallow based cream lathers nicely and lasts a while, although not as long as artisan creams which cost 2 or 3 times more. No doubt, like tens of thousands before me, it's the you-either-like-it-or-you-don't scent that gives me pause. Like an aggressive, unholy love child of Lemon Pledge and Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Bowl Cleaner, when you lather up the ol' Arko right under your nose you will know you have done so. Pow! I've actually kind of gotten used to it, but I also alternate with TOBS Sandalwood just to give my olfactory bulb some relief. If there ever was a classic YMMV shaving product, Arko Shaving Soap might be it. Give it a try!

    Hesitant based on online feedback, but absolutely love it!

    The opinions on Arko Shaving Soap online are quite diverse, particularly in terms of the smell. I was nervous. When I got it, however, not only did I like the scent, my wife and kids said it was the best smelling of all the shave soaps I received in that order. It's great. Very slick and works well. The only small problem was there was a small crack in the bottom of the bowl. Not a big deal. In fact, New England Shaving Company had thrown in a complementary metal bowl. I pressed the shave puck into that and it works great. I'll probably order the Arko stick in the future and just press into the bowl. It's maluable enough to do that. This was my first order from New England Shaving Company and it was amazing. John was super helpful corresponding via email before my order (several sample blade packs, soaps, alum block, etc.) I can't wait until I need more stuff to order again.
