This premium combination water stone features two versatile grit levels in one solid block. The 2000-grit surface is designed for initial edge work, light reshaping, and bevel correction, while the 5000-grit side refines the edge and prepares it for final finishing on a finer stone.
Efficient and dependable, this stone allows you to achieve excellent sharpening results in a short amount of time, making it ideal for both regular maintenance and more detailed edge work.
A durable non-slip rubber base ensures stability during use, preventing movement on the work surface while also protecting the underside of the stone.

How to Use:
Soak the stone in water for a few minutes prior to sharpening, extended soaking is not necessary. During use, keep the surface lightly moistened to maintain optimal performance.
The 6 cm (2.36 in) width offers a stable and comfortable working area suitable for virtually any blade type.
For a complete sharpening progression from initial refinement to a fine pre-finish, this stone can be paired with a 3000/8000 grit stone and used in sequence: 2000 → 3000 → 5000 → 8000. Following this progression will produce a clean, refined, and exceptionally sharp cutting edge.
