I used the Diane Ceramic Platinum double-edge blades in both a Merkur 34c and a Henson AL13, for a full face and head shave. While in general I prefer a sharper blade, these did a comfortable and fine job; they seemed comparable to Derby Premiums, not surprising as they are also manufactured in Turkey. One big plus for me is the very small amount of adhesive wax used to affix the wrapper. I don't understand purchasing good razors manufactured to microscopic tolerances and then trying to use blades with large, difficult-to-remove gobs of goo. I can't tell you how many shaves to expect from a blade because I don't play that game, not being willing to carve up my face to save a few pennies. I'd use the Diane blades again, but they're not my overall top pick.
