Dovo SwissWood Maple Straight Razor blends centuries of tradition with modern craftsmanship. Inspired by Japanese blacksmithing, its refined blade design offers precision and elegance. The sustainable walnut, maple, spruce, and beech wood handle is densified and hardened through an innovative process, making it highly resistant to water and soap. The polished tang, back, and innovative shape add striking visual accents, elevating this razor to a true collector’s piece.
The 5/8 inch blade is a versatile all-rounder; heavy enough to glide smoothly with minimal pressure yet nimble for detailed work around the nose, ears, and chin. Its hollow grind combines flexibility with high torsional rigidity, delivering both the sound and feel of a precise, gentle shave.
Forged from silver steel (1.2210 carbon steel), the blade is heat-treated above 1000°C, quenched in oil, and tempered for toughness, achieving a hardness of about 61 HRC. The SwissWood maple handle undergoes a unique compaction process to achieve exceptional hardness and durability, perfectly complementing the blade’s longevity.
Care Instructions: Rinse with warm water after use, dab dry without touching the edge, and store open until fully dry. Allow 48 hours between shaves for the burr to realign. For longer storage, apply a light coat of acid-free oil.
How to Shave: Strop the blade before use. Apply shaving lather or oil, stretch the skin, and hold the razor at a 30° angle. Begin shaving with the grain, then finish against the grain for a close, smooth result.

For change‑of‑mind returns, shipping fees both ways are non‑refundable, and any prepaid return label cost will be deducted from your refund.
