Dovo - Shavette Straight Razor - Olivewood Handle

The DOVO Shavette is a straight razor with interchangeable blades. It can be used just like a classic straight razor. The possibility to change the blade makes it extremely popular at barbershops since every customer receives a fresh blade. Dovo manufactures this model from light aluminium and refine it with a handle of stylishly grained olive wood.

This Shavette is made from high-quality aluminium (black anodized aluminium). The used anodising process changes the top metal layer, giving it an elegant appearance and corrosion-resistant properties. Due to its low density, aluminium is a true lightweight which leads to the unique weight distribution of this Shavette.

Olive wood is a unique, natural material. It is harder than domestic oak or beech wood and shows a high resistance against mould infestation. Even untreated olive wood has an above-average resistance to water making it the perfect material for straight razors, shaving brushes, and shavettes.

How to shave: First, you pull the blade holder out of your Shavette. Next, you'll break a classic Double Edge Blade along within the paper and insert one half into the blade holder. Then, you re-attach the blade holder onto your interchangeable straight razor handle. You’re all ready to shave! The shaving preparation, handling, and blade usage are the same as with a conventional straight razor.

Dovo Shavettes are also low maintenance. Washing off the blade holder and handle, and then drying with a cloth will help maintain your razor for years. Occasionally, you can add a drop of oil to the swivel joint to make opening it just as smooth as it was on the first day.

We have a 30-day return policy, starting from the day you receive your item.

Products that have been removed from their original packaging or have broken seals are deemed non-returnable. Returns lacking original packaging will not be accepted.

Shaving creams, soaps, lotions, and any liquids or unsealed containers are not returnable as opening the lid could compromise the integrity of the product. 

Blade sampler packs, once partially used, are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Shaving brushes, combs, gift sets, kits and other grooming products and shaving accessories are not returnable if used, have broken seals, lacking original packaging.

Due to hygiene and sanitation concerns, used items cannot be returned.

All returns and exchanges require prior authorization. To initiate a return, please contact us at support@newenglandshaving.com. We will verify with you if the item meets our return policy criteria. Upon your confirmation, we will provide a return shipping label. Upon receipt of your return, our team will inspect it. If accepted, a refund will be issued according to our refund policy terms.

Shipping fees both ways are non-refundable in the case of return or exchange except for damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped items.

Refund requests will be denied if the returned product does not meet our return criteria or align with the initial confirmation of its condition.
