How to use: Pull out the blade holder and snap a standard double-edge razor blade in half (within its wrapper). Insert one half into the blade holder and reattach it to the handle. Shave as you would with a traditional straight razor.

We have a 30-day return policy, starting from the day you receive your item.
Products that have been removed from their original packaging or have broken seals are deemed non-returnable. Returns lacking original packaging will not be accepted.
Shaving creams, soaps, lotions, and any liquids or unsealed containers are not returnable as opening the lid could compromise the integrity of the product.
Blade sampler packs, once partially used, are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges.
Shaving brushes, combs, gift sets, kits and other grooming products and shaving accessories are not returnable if used, have broken seals, lacking original packaging.
Due to hygiene and sanitation concerns, used items cannot be returned.

I have a Dovo Black Star razor (well worth the investment). I also have the plastic (Black) Dovo Shavette that I have used when I need a quick shave. The plastic version was light and I felt myself "pushing/pulling" instead of the razor naturally "gliding" across my face. The stainless steel version has a little weight to it which allows this to happen. First try with the stainless steel version (using derby blades) and the shave was far superior to the plastic version. For quick convenience, this is the way to go. Also, not a bad option for learning as opposed to putting up the money for the actual straight razor investment. Either way, you can't go wrong with Dovo.
To maintain your Dovo Shavette razor, regularly clean the blade and handle after each use. Rinse the blade under warm water and dry it thoroughly to prevent rust. Dry your fingers and stretch your skin and find your proper angle - you may lay it flat or tilt outward slightly -start under the sideburn and then work your way down with the the grain. Always shave with the grain of your hair to minimise irritation. Practice makes perfect, so take your time to develop your technique.
