Edwin Jagger - Chatsworth Silver Tip Badger Shaving Brush
The Edwin Jagger Chatsworth Silver Tip Badger Shaving Brush pairs the finest grade of badger hair with one of Edwin Jagger's most recognisable handles. The Chatsworth shape borrows the stepped lines of Georgian buildings and 1930s styling, finished with a wide flared base. It comes in Imitation Ebony, Imitation Ivory or Imitation Light Horn.
Silver Tip is the softest and rarest badger hair. It is taken from the neck of the badger, and each knot is filled by hand with more than 18,000 untrimmed hairs, which gives the brush its white crown above a darker band. The fine tips feel very gentle on the face, while the dense knot still has the backbone to work lather into the beard. It holds a generous amount of water, so a rich, creamy lather comes together quickly.
Rinse the brush well after shaving, flick away the water and leave it to dry bristles down. A Black or Imitation Ivory small drip stand is the ideal match. Avoid using it with shaving oil.
