The Edwin Jagger Diffusion Black Synthetic Shaving Brush is part of the Diffusion Collection, a range that pairs modern production with careful hand finishing in Sheffield. The lightweight polyester handle is capped with a polished chrome trim and comes in Imitation Horn, Imitation Ebony or Imitation Ivory.
The black synthetic knot is an ethical, vegan friendly and affordable alternative to badger hair. It holds hot water well and works soap or cream into a smooth, creamy lather, giving a shave comparable to a natural hair brush. The fibers are firm at the center so the knot keeps its shape, while the tips stay very soft, which makes it a good match for sensitive skin. It also dries quickly and resists the residue buildup that natural hair can collect.
