The LEA Classic Shaving Soap has a masculine scent with nourishing and creamy lather. Fragranced with a traditional blend of smoky, sensuous sandalwood and earthy green moss, this manly soap pampers sensitive skin with allantoin, lanolin, glycerin and bisabolol, toning and cooling after the shave with menthol. Perfect for creating a great lather. Comes in a resealable metal tin.

Good shaving cream.

Lea shaving cream is a solid performer. It’s not so soft that it requires any special technique to load the brush. It’s firm enough that you can load it like a (soft) soap. The lather and glide are good, and the fragrance is pleasant and light. A solid choice for a daily workhorse.

Wonderful shave soap

This is a wonderful shave soap. Absolutely wonderful. It is in my top 10 I have tried this past year. Note: it is really closer to shave cream, harder and thicker than the Lea cream in the tube, but still more shave cream than soap. Highly recommended.

I bought a can of this, and I love the way that it makes my face feel. But when I tried applying it to my face with my shaving brush, I discovered that it was thick. Should I be using a brush to apply it? Or should I use my fingers?

New England Shaving Company

It is always better to use a brush with a shaving soap. If you wet it properly and lather it well, you will see a huge improvement in your shaving experience.
