Merkur 510 Progress with Antique Brass Knob is a long handle, adjustable double edge safety razor that blends classic 1950s design with modern German engineering for a customizable, efficient shave.

Based on the standard Progress 510, this edition features a distinctive metal knob in an antique brass finish, echoing the look of the original mid-century Merkur models. With a simple twist of the bottom knob, you can fine-tune the blade gap from approximately 0.6 mm to 1.6 mm, letting you move from a mild, everyday shave to a much closer, more assertive pass as needed. This makes it well suited to both daily shaves on sensitive skin and tackling heavier growth when you dial the setting higher.

The razor uses a solid brass handle paired with a die-cast zinc head, all with galvanized, bright chrome-plated surfaces for durability, corrosion resistance, and a clean, reflective appearance. The profiled handle tube provides a secure, confident grip, while the two-piece construction allows straightforward blade loading and alignment using any standard double edge blade.
